Edutainer from Hyderabad

The calmest person wins

I am Kalyan Inampudi, a UPSC mentor and, as I like to put it, an edutainer from Hyderabad. For sixteen years I have lived inside this examination: as an aspirant, as a teacher, and now as Chief Mentor at La Excellence IAS, where I teach Essay and Ethics.

I believe talent can come from any place; sometimes all it needs is a nudge. I have been reading the newspaper almost every day and sharing articles with aspirants since 2013. If one aspirant uses what I share and reaches their dream, that is the only satisfaction I need. Impact lies in quality and connect, not in numbers.

I studied commerce at Osmania University, later studied at the London School of Economics, and am reading for an M.A. at IGNOU in Public Administration and Gandhian ethics. This journal is where I keep what I read and hear: lines worth keeping, books, the morning paper, talks, and my own notes.
